JOHNSON CONTROLS PACKS EMERGENCY FOOD BOXES ON MLK DAY
St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance would like to thank a huge contingent of employees from Johnson Controls for their visit to our Del E. Webb Distribution Center on Martin Luther King Day.
Not only did all our volunteers spend the day packing Emergency Food Boxes for the hungry of Ariz...ona, many of them signed up for the Pound For Pound Challenge in conjunction with the NBC television show "The Biggest Loser." St. Mary's raised nearly $11,000 through this program last year, and the hope is to raise even more in 2001.
