St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance has over 700 homes on a waiting list for citrus gleaning just three weeks into the 2011 program. We don’t have enough volunteers to reach all those interested in giving their citrus to St. Mary’s and we are especially short i...n the following zip codes
85018 – 84 trees in 14 homes
85020 – 37 trees in 11 homes
85251 – 69 trees in 10 homes
These are all well established neighborhoods and tend to have very large trees. Lots of fun to pick!
We also have a lot of citrus reserved for picking in the 85301, 85308, 85008 and 85032 zip codes. If you have a few hours, a few days or your group is interested in a community service project in the great outdoors, this could be PERFECT.
