GOT CITRUS? GLEAN IT!

ST. MARY’S FOOD BANK ALLIANCE HOLDS SECOND ANNUAL “SUPER CITRUS SATURDAY” ON JAN. 22
Event Expands to 3 Locations for Added Convenience; Donations Accepted From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. At All Locations
One person’s surplus is another’s necessity, and St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance is hoping that once again the Valley’s overflowing ...neighborhood citrus trees can be turned into a bountiful harvest for those in need this winter.
For those wishing willing to pick their own fruit for donation to the food bank St. Mary’s will hold its second annual “Super Citrus Saturday” on Saturday, Jan. 22. The program is expanding to three drop-off locations from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for residents in the North Central Phoenix, Arcadia and Westside areas to give homeowners a designated drop-off spot to make their tax-deductible produce donation to the Food Bank.
The three “Super Citrus Saturday locations are:
*   North Phoenix Baptist Church (Central Avenue and Bethany Home Road)
*   Shepherd of the Hills United Church of Christ (56th Street and Lafayette)
*   St. Mary’s Food Bank, Surprise (13050 W. Elm Street in Surprise).
