CITYSCAPE WILL BE UNDER “CANSTRUCTION®” TO FIGHT HUNGER

Well, kind of. The 5th annual Canstruction® competition is taking place on Saturday, March 5th at it new location — Red Development CityScape in downtown Phoenix. A dozen teams will be building sculptures entirely out of canned and non-perishable food. Sound hard? You bet, but these guys are pros. Each team brings in their own food to create their masterpiece, and last year over 50,000 cans of food was donated to St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance at the end of the competition.

Everyone is welcome to come down and watch Canstruction in action starting at 8 am on March 5, with viewing of the finished products running through March 12th – when “De-Canstruction” beings.
Don’t forget to bring a non-perishable food items for St. Mary’s to the simultaneous food drive. Every can makes a difference.
