St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance Board Member and uber-volunteer John Demetra was honored by St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance with a Spirit of Philanthropy Award at the Nov. 16th AFP Awards Dinner at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel. St. Mary’s honored John for his exceptional volunteerism: 3 days a week at the Agency Shopping area, extensive involvement with the Kids Cafe Golf Tournament and the Kids Cafe Program. Accompanying John to the Dinner is his lovely wife Alice.
Terry Shannon, President & CEO of St. Mary’s Food Bank presented a Spirit of Philanthropy Award to Board Member John Demetra for outstanding volunteer efforts on behalf of St. Mary’s. The award was presented at the annual AFP Philanthropy Leadership Awards Dinner on November 16, 2011.
