Nearly 30 percent of American families have had problems putting food on the table at least once in the past year -- and a new report shows Arizona is tied with Louisiana as the seventh worst state with food hardships.
Among the 25 metro areas with the highest rate of food hardships, Tucson ranks 15th at nearly 29 percent.
The valley ranks 20th at nearly 28 percent.
